British singer-songwriter Santino Le Saint delivers in the fourth quarter with his debut studio album, Beautiful Disaster.
The Brixton-born artist has been teasing the album throughout 2021, backed by various singles to make up the 12 tracks. Beautiful Disaster is predominately a trap album taking elements from pop, punk, rock and hip hop to deliver memorable hooks and guitar-led instrumentals.
From the jump, it’s clear Santino Le Saint has a natural talent for melody. Though grabbing influences from State-side, the sound is curated to an infectious level, backed by production from Elevated, Thomas and Benjamin Totten, and Santino Le Saint himself.
Vocally, Santino Le Saint carries his own to ensure those melodies hit appropriately, particularly in album highlights like “Ride or Die” and “Walk the Line”. On “Hurricane”, the rockstar aesthetic takes a step back to deliver a soft ballad, easily the most vulnerable moment on the album.
With such consistency in sound and vision, Beautiful Disaster has instantly made Santino Le Saint artist to keep on your radar.
