Self-starter Tariq Disu makes a bold artistic statement with his track “BOUNCE”, a refreshing track out of the underground UK scene.
Hailing from South London, 24-year-old rapper and producer Tariq Disu is one to pay attention to. His latest track “BOUNCE” showcases the talent in play, a song blending hip hop, trap and electronica with signature UK attitudes.
“BOUNCE” is self-produced and accompanied by a self-directed music video. It immediately set itself and Tariq Disu apart from your regularly scheduled programming, daring to present a new sound that is both challenging and accessible.
Tariq Disu has cited poetry and British-American rapper MF DOOM as influences to his music. Since emerging, he has produced for the likes of Ella Mai and House of Pharoahs, and collaborations with fellow UK peers Knucks and Sam Wise.
An upcoming project titled GW is expected to land in the near future. If “BOUNCE” is anything to go off, there is much more in store for the South London creative.
