South London singer-songwriter Samm Henshaw has released his latest single, “Chicken Wings”, taken from his upcoming debut album.
Produced by Josh Grant, the soulful track combines food metaphors with romantic odes. Bright keys lead the song into grand horns and gentle vocals. Musically ambitious, “Chicken Wings” sets itself apart from conventional UK tracks, naturally taking stateside influences from soul and R&B to make necessary advancements in London’s alternative scene.
It is the latest offering from Henshaw’s debut album, Untidy Soul, scheduled for release in early 2022.
