K-Trap Releases Fourth Mixtape, ‘Trapo’

The beloved South Londoner has unveiled his fourth official mixtape, Trapo, taking it back to basics to what initially defined K-Trap.

After teasing the project for a few months, K-Trap has released Trapo, a 16-track mixtape which fully endorses his drill origins. It includes singles “Warm”, “Maths”, “Pick ‘n’ Mix” and “Free C Roy”, with guest appearances from DoRoad, Youngs Teflon, PR Sad and Lotto Boy Ash. Production is courtesy of drill regulars M1ontheBeat, Ghosty, Natz LDN and Handz Beatz, among others.

The mixtape focuses entirely on heavy drill beats and K-Trap’s signature flow. From the simplistic cover art, which depicts a CD with marker writing reminiscent of old-school mixtapes, it’s clear K-Trap is taking it back to basics.

Trapo follows up his debut album, Street Side Effects, which was released last year November under Black Butter Limited.
