Kaniva drops the music video for “Unstable” to take relationship realities to the next level.
The South London rapper unlocks further potential for his song “Unstable” by giving it the music video treatment. Produced by Elevated and found on Kaniva’s 2020 EP, 3, “Unstable” highlights the story of a couple going through the motions while interpolating Craig David’s classic “7 Days”. The music video ties in with the song’s lyrics, with Love Island’s Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu portraying the role of a couple’s fluctuating emotions.
Visually, the video utilises the concept of yin and yang to present the dualism of the relationship, framed entirely in either black or white. Such minimalism masterfully represents the emotional rollercoaster.
