North London icon Scorcher delivers the music video for “Ops” with Edmonton rapper, Tion Wayne.
The drill-infused track bridges two generations: Scorcher, who’s been rapping since the mid-2000s, and Tion Wayne, one of the leading forces in UK rap today. It’s a track that finds Scorcher renewing his veteran status, embracing the new sounds of the nation and diversifying his catalogue.
The song is taken from Scorcher’s album The Drama, released late last year, while its deluxe edition was unveiled in February. Scorcher and Tion Wayne previously linked up for the latter’s posse cut “Make It Out”, which also featured fellow vets Joe Black, Potter Payper and Rimzee.
