Wolverhampton rapper Danny Zealous has released his latest track, “No Shame”, as he preps for his upcoming EP.
One thing that is important to upcoming rapper Danny Zealous is catalogue. Over the last three years, the British-Indian artist has been quietly dropping singles and music videos to accompany them. His latest offering is “No Shame”, a melodic cut produced by AshThatMadeThat which shows a glimpse of his capabilities.
Though melodic trap tunes are not only what Danny Zealous has to offer. At heart, Danny plays with raw lyricism and fast, energetic flows reminiscent of Midwestern chopper rap. It is no wonder the rapper is able to showcase different sides of artistry, naming Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky and JID as his main inspirations. Which is why at his core, Danny Zealous is a rapper’s rapper, adamant on keeping the lyrical essence of hip hop alive in the modern generation.
His track “Winter Time Freestyle” showcases the lyrical hunger. Also produced by AshThatMadeThat, Danny flexes his ability to rap over any beat.
Being from Wolverhampton, a city known for its Asian community, Danny does not take the groundwork for granted. It is why consistency is important for him, commenting: “It’s a lot more difficult for me as I’m not from a major city like a London or a Birmingham or a Manchester, so I gotta work ten times harder and stand out even more whilst doing it.”
Speaking on his future plans, Danny stated: “My plan is to connect with as many people as possible through the art I create, ’cause best believe this is gonna go full circle and the core following I have spent years building will indeed be in full effect.
He is currently working on his first project, an EP scheduled to drop in winter. The EP is set to show the myriad of Danny’s styles, and elevate his pen to the next level.
