Tara Mills & Carns Hill Indulge in Silky R&B on ‘False Hope’ LP

Two unlikely South London talents come together for a sultry R&B project that demonstrates exactly what the UK R&B scene is craving.

Singer-songwriter Tara Mills has released her collaborative LP, False Hope. The album is entirely produced by Carns Hill, the iconic Brixton producer known for pioneering UK drill. The producer takes an entire 180, embarking on a soulful R&B album with Tara Mills; a project in the making for the last two years.

Its first single, “Toxic Delight”, was released back in December 2019, with the duo dishing various loosies and additional album singles to the lead-up of its 2021 release. Featuring appearances from Youngs Teflon and Reeko Squeeze, the album keeps its spirit in the South London family.

Across its 11 tracks, Tara Mills ignites Carns Hill’s production with her mature vocals, cultivating a much-necessary UK R&B project that takes risks to impress the listener.

False Hope is available to listen on all digital streaming platforms.
