To kick off 2021, Chicago rapper Dre Marro has released his single “Midwest Mayhem”.
Delivering rapid flows and slick flows over the trap beat, Dre Marro – also known as Mufasa – impresses listeners while displaying an intent to make his mark on the rap game.
The song’s namesake is a reference to the midwestern region of the United States, a region underrated when it comes to hip hop discussion that is largely dominated by the East and West coasts. Dre Marro confidently reps for his home, not failing to do it justice.
Dre Marro has released three projects so far in his career, including 2020’s Troublesome and the 2018 release The Revision. As a local Chicago artist, Dre Marro has performed at venues across his hometown and has also opened up for Terror Squad’s Cuban Link as an opening act.
