The 2019 XXL Freshman Freestyles sees only eight out of the eleven freshman participating. Blueface, Gunna and Tierra Whack all decided to not do a freestyle, which is very strange and hasn’t been explained by the artists. That leaves us with 8 freestyles to judge and rank. This year’s freestyles are a mix between good and bad, with none capitalising on the moment to show maximum potential.
